My introduction to the sheet metal industry has been hands on-the actual manufacture of product. My position has changed to some extent when I went into QA at Lightining Metals Specialities. Flextronics bought Lightning in 2000.I hope that it will maintain to be hands on-I like to be in the thick of things-problem solving-finding solution to assemblies etc.Specialties: I have taught and trained many co-workers on how to be Quality Technicians; from interpreting prints/customer specification, tolerance blocks to the use of all standard lab equipment from calipers to height gages to comparators to creation of FAI's, inprocess inspection sheets, OBA's and Final Inspection checklists etc. I have held classes on sheet metal, flat blank developement, trigonometry etc. The tools that I learned to become a good model maker I share with others.
