Hello, my name is Mark Caplin.I am a former hospitality professional with an experience of 11 years in the field. Most of my time working in hospitality was spent in Greece, including titles such as waiter, event planner, guest relations officer and receptionist.My relocation to Amsterdam in 2020 provided me with the opportunity to delve into the field of production, and my most recent title is "production lead" at Wakuli.I am a freelance audio engineer/ session artist with 8 years of experience recording/ composing/ sound design. Currently adept in two of the most popular music recording software environments, namely Ableton Live and Cubase.My skillset in the music field is both a compositional one (recording jingles/ soundtracks for visual media accompaniment), as well as a technical one (various recording techniques, fluency in the use of synthesisers, audio effects and audio editing).
