Perform follow up investigation to crimes which may include: robbery, burglary, auto theft, missing persons, juvenile crime, fraud; narcotics, assault/battery; sexual assault; computer crime; domestic violence; surveillance,among others. As a Youth Officer an emphasis is placed upon juvenile crime and juvenile law.

Acts as the official spokesperson of the Darien Police Department in conducting and maintaining an active liaison with the news media. Assists news personnel in covering routine news stories and at the scene of incidents. Prepares and distributes news releases. Coordinates and authorizes the release of information about victims, witnesses, and suspects.

Provided police services as assigned, conducted investigations, made arrests, enforced traffic laws.

Respiratory therapists work most often in an intensive care unit, emergency room or in general patient care.Respiratory therapists are specialists in cardiology and pulmonology, and are also advanced-practice clinicians in airway management; establishing and maintaining the airway during management of trauma, intensive care and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Respiratory therapists are often in charge of initiating and managing life support for people in intensive care units and emergency departments, stabilizing, treating and managing pre-hospital and hospital-to-hospital patient transport by air or ground ambulance.In the outpatient setting Respiratory Therapists are often educators in asthma clinics, ancillary clinical staff in pediatric clinics, and sleep-disorder diagnosticians in sleep-clinics. They also serve as clinical providers for hyperbaric medicine.
