A national role to develop sustainable funding to enable Mencap to deliver, education, employability training programmes and community based provision. Identification of market trends and opportunities matched to Mencap’s strategic vision, I’ve enabled our organisation to pivot from local authority and DWP funded programmes to predominantly Education programmes to support people with a learning disability into work. My role involves development of strategic partnerships with employers to ensure there are learning and employment opportunities for our learners whilst supporting companies with their Equality and Diversity work, recognising the significant benefits employers gain from working with them ur client groups.
