Work for Rig Tool Pusher and Field Superintendent’s to order parts and supplies for rig as needed to include receiving of all parts for rig.Designed and implemented a complete inventory tracking system in Excel to facilitate critical spares tracking and expedite repair processes. This program included shortcuts and hyperlinks to SDS’s, working safety documents, procedures, equipment manuals and other pertinent information used in the repair processes.

Oversee the maintenance aspects of Rig 16E on the North Slope to include organization, management, technical support, research, efficiency upgrades and repairs of all systems including Caterpillar engines, power generation equipment, rig hydraulic systems, rig air systems as well as all other mechanical systems on the rig.

Managed all facets of the Service Department under the direct supervision of the Chief Operations Officer. Responsible for preparing quotes, dealing directly with customers, assisting service staff with processing and closing internal, revenue and warranty work orders. Responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of company’s main concrete batch plant as well as setup, installation and maintenance of a 70 Ton semi-portable batch plant. Performed a variety of tasks to include complete replacement of the main plant electrical and pneumatic control systems to replace outdated 1960’s technology with current technologies. Replaced most major components of the main plant with the exception of the two conveyor systems. Designed, fabricated and installed catwalks at the top of the feed conveyor to allow for safe maintenance of the conveyors upper components. Installed a Dust Control System to eliminate cement powder dust reducing overall maintenance costs as well as eliminating the breathing hazard during plant operations. Replaced the plant mixer assembly to a more modern style concrete mixer. Replaced all motor controls to implement a more organized system as well as solid state variable overloads. Readied main plant for upgrade to more modern Qnix based computer control software to align new semi-portable and old plant operating systems. Installed 4 million BTU Direct Contact Water Heater (Kemco) to facilitate increased winter operations and provide hot water on demand at a rate of 104GPM up to 200 degrees. Designed and installed a dual slab and water tank heating system on a 1 million BTU boiler to heat the truck wash slab and provide hot wash water for winter operations. Assisted with the installation of a liquid color system to facilitate production of colored concrete. Purchased and installed eye wash stations as well as various other forms of PPE as required by OSHA. Also provided support to the shop with maintenance on Mac trucks, Volvo loaders, Kenworth trucks and Ford F250, F350 and F450 Super duty diesel trucks (7.3L).

Shops Supervisor/Engine & Component Rebuild Supervisor U.S. Army - 558th Transportation Company Directly Supervised 19 Watercraft Engineers assigned to the Army’s only Watercraft Engine and Component rebuild shop. Provided Training, managed daily work orders and provided technical assistance to five Non-commissioned Officers assigned under me. Assisted with repairs to Detroit, Cummins and Caterpillar diesel engines, various pumps, hydraulic components, pneumatic components and electric motors. Acting Shops Supervisor in the absence of my supervisor for the Air Conditioning/Refrigeration shop, Electric Motor Rebuild shop, Communications/Radar shop and Carpentry shop Maintenance NCO U.S. Army - 331st Transportation Company Assigned to unit as a watercraft engineer on board a Mechanized Landing Craft as Senior Engineer. Progressively worked up to serve as a Maintenance NCO in the Vessel Support Office (VSO). Provided technical support and repair assistance to all Marine Engineers assigned to the company. Managed the Marine Army Oil Analysis Program. Managed the VSO Hazmat program to include ordering, stocking and issue of hazardous materials used within the company on board watercraft. Served as unit maintenance representative in fielding of new watercraft systems. Traveled extensively for training and conferences to include direct coordination with the U.S. Coast Guard, DOT Civilian Agencies as well as Tank and Armament Command (TACOM) civilians and officers. Directly advised the Company Commander, project managers and others as necessary. Deployed as Primary Deployment NCO in charge of a 12 person advanced party deployed to the U.K. for scheduled bi-annual maintenance of over 180 pieces of prepositioned equipment. Started company as a DOS/IBM Compatible computer technician and eventually progressed through Business Services providing technical consultations to customers and salespeople in the store and on-site as well as preparation of major network proposals and government sales. Eventually was promoted to Service Manager in charge of the technical aspects and customer relations of the service department with a co-lead in charge of day to day dispatch operations. Performed repairs on Macintosh and IBM Compatible computer systems and their associated peripherals.
