My role is to provide integrated employment support tailored to the patients' individual needs. Working alongside NHS practitioners to support patients towards recovery, using a range of skills to help them return to or remain in work.

Within my role I worked with vulnerable young people in their residential setting. I was responsible for providing them with personalised care and creating a calm, safe living environment. This involved planning and engaging the young people in a wide range of stimulating and therapeutic activities, both on site and in the local community. I was required to support young people to engage in counselling and escort them on planned contact visits,

I worked for two full academic years delivering academic and behavioral interventions for Pupil Premium students both in and out of lessons. These often took place in Maths lessons, however, I worked across all subjects with students of varying ages and abilities. In addition to this role I ran a year group rugby team involving coaching, refereeing and the general organisation of fixtures.I took up a full time position upon completion of a Psychology MSc.

South Lakes In Cumbria

As part of my second year studies for my undergraduate degree I completed 5 weeks work experience with the RFU, assisting the local community rugby coach for South Lakeland. The aim was to help increase participation in grass roots rugby for people of all ages and from all backgrounds by supporting existing rugby clubs in the production of a host of different events.
