I had been taken on with ICON to facilitate the migration of approximately 6500 users from Windows Server 2012 to Server 2019 and in some cases, Server 2022.This requires building a whole new infrastructure from the ground up spread across EMEA and America.. New Citrix PVS Servers, New Citrix Storefront Servers. New Citrix WEM Servers. New App-V 5.1 Servers and migration of the App-V packages to the new Servers. New base templates for the 2019 Serves and installation of all of their application. All the while rolling out Office 365 in the process.I attend change control meetings twice a week as I am constantly putting in change control requests for changes that need to be done during the project.I had a Project Manager who I have daily meetings with including my team members. It's was a very interesting project and sometime that I am really proud of being involved with.

I was initially taken on within Allianz to be there Principal Citrix Consultant. They had a Citrix farm of 48 Servers with 800 users and after joining I realised that the end users were not getting a good service. Resources on the servers were not enough and I expanded the environment to 58 Servers. I use Ivanti Environment Manager to deliver the required environment under change control. I update server images on a weekly basis based on requirements for applications and Microsoft updates and role that updated image out to Integration and then Production. I also have implemented PowerShell scripts that generate hourly reports about how the whole Citrix environment is behaving and this report gets emailed to management.

I initially joined Canada Life within the EUI, BAU and VDI teams. Within those teams I was responsible for providing the best possible service to end uses. I performed this using product’s like Ivanti Environment Manager and WorkSpace Control, MECM, CyberArk, FireEye, McAfee, VMware DEM. I was also involved with migrating the entire 8500 Windows 10 1809 to 1909 and now I am involved with migrating from 1909 to 20H2. I am also involved in migrating all lines of business from Exchange on prem to Office 365 and dealing with line of business managers on this. My position was that of Senior Citrix / Virtualization Consultant. My primary role is to work one of Infosys’s Irish Customers with moving their Citrix XenApp and Windows OS machines from on premises to the Azure Cloud. I was part of the Indian Infosys Team and worked very closely with the entire team. Every week we would have key milestones to reach with daily project meetings around these milestones. My key role was building the infrastructure within the region and zones. Part of this was testing and implementing the existing applications with new applications within the new environment. The entire solution was benchmarked for Server performance and application performance.
