Having joined the JCSL graduate scheme in July 2013, I initially worked on a number of consultancy projects for local financial institutions including customer due diligence and FATCA. Since, September 2013, I have been working on an extensive project in relation to the lending process for a major international bank. This involved a complete review with a view to dramatically improving efficiency and streamlining the lending process from an end-to-end timescale of 22 weeks to less than one month. The success of this project has resulted in the bank requesting that JCSL provide my business analyst services for an additional period to review the investment management platform currently used over a number of international jurisdictions and implement one system to reduce costs and improve efficiencies. In addition, when this worked finished I was asked to assist in a change project which consisted of constructing a business case to deem which department, out of a selection of four, was most appropriate to receive an iPad application which automated the client on-boarding process.
