As managing partner of my own law firm, I provide specialised offshore and local corporate legal services, including structuring, reorganisations, initial public offerings, private placements, debt and equity financings and complex transactional legal support. I managed the Bermuda Office for Teekay Corporation, a midstream energy transport shipping company, providing corporate secretarial services to two NYSE listed companies, two NYSE listed master limited partnerships, and one OSE listed company. I also acted in various director and officer roles for over 250 subsidiary companies within the Teekay Group. I.

Assigned to the Securities and Insurance Group and seconded to the Intellectual Property Group as a litigator. Within the Securities and Insurance group, my notable work included drafting prospectuses for IPOs, bridge financings and private placements, large share purchase agreements and the production of standard and non-traditional insurance contracts..

Completion of International Articles with the Securities and Financial Services Team, Trusts and Estates Team and Telecommunications Team, thereafter co-assigned to the Insurance and Securities Teams. I was charged with the day to day carriage of corporate, insurance, bankruptcy and trust files, including the issuance, transfer and listing of securities.
