Responsible for ensuring all customer requests are acknowledged and contractual obligations are met. Responsible for expenditure on projects allocated. Responsible for ensuring all projects are closed within the timelines agreed. Responsible for the procurement and coordination of materials. Responsible for ensuring sufficient installation labour is sourced to meet the project requirements. Responsible for ensuring all legislative documentation is collated and issued in line with company procedures. Responsible for the creation, issue and continual updating of the project CDM documentation for the project duration. Accountable for the project Health & Safety including toolbox talks and ensuring all aspects of the site are carried out in line with current legislation.

Working closely with the design engineers, contract managers and the commercial manager to produce competitve tender packages.Managing the process of responding to tenders, including allowing adequate time for internal review of cost build up. Understanding contractual responsibilities contained with enquiry documents. Producing tender packages for our potential sub-contractors and reviewing returned documents for inclusion within our bid. Developing accurate cost estimates to enable pricing decisions to be made on the basis of a clear understanding of base cost. Preparing / submitting estimates to reflect Client’s enquiry documents / tender information and Space Engineering Services current tendering strategy. Work with engineering team to identify opportunities for “value engineering”. Negotiate with suppliers, within the framework of our procurement strategy. In conjunction with the Account Manager, conduct hand over meetings with the nominated Project Manager upon successful award of the project. Key clients Sainsburys, Morrisons, Tesco, Asda, Waitrose & Gate Gourmet.
