Contaminated land and environmental professional and project manager/director with over twenty five years of experience. Technical experience from initial desk study assessment through to remediation design and implementation, including a strong understanding of both technical and commercial aspects. During the last few years, I have been commissioned to provide Expert Witness services for five cases relating to contaminated land investigation and assessment for the Supreme Court of NSW and the NSW Land and Environment Court. Experience in a wide range of sectors including contaminated land assessment and remediation in support of property acquisition, divestment and development. My current areas of interest are the assessment, migration and remediation of hydrocarbons; contributed towards and acknowledged in the Assessment and Management of Hazardous Ground Gases (NSW EPA, 2020); the detailed and appropriate assessment of PFAS; the detailed and appropriate assessment of asbestos; the environmental management of large-scale residential developments; the assessment and remediation of landfills to facilitate development and the investigation and remediation of former coal fired power stations.
