This position is responsible for the overall strategy and efficient daily operations of the Sutter South upholstery manufacturing facility. This position has the primary accountability for performance results in production, safety, quality, cost, customer service, and associate relations within the facility.This position oversees the management of all areas of the manufacturing facility – including Production, Warehousing, Shipping, and Facilities departments, to ensure that products are manufactured and shipped on schedule, while meeting/exceeding quality standards and cost objectives. This position builds, develops, and manages a leadership team capable of carrying out operational strategies and execution excellence in a high growth environment.

Full P & L responsibility over two facilities for Kellex Seating. Responsible for leadership of 8 direct and 275 indirect reports. Kellex Seating produces seating products for the Hospitality, Healthcare and Senior Living markets. Value streams include Product Development, Wood Mill, Finish, Cut & Sew, Upholstery and Distribution Operations.

Full P & L responsibility over four facilities for Charter Furniture. Responsible for leadership of 6 direct and 250 indirect reports. Charter Furniture produces seating products for the hospitality market. Value streams include R & D, Wood Mill, Finish, Cut & Sew, Upholstery and Distribution Operations.

Full P & L responsibility over two facilities for Flexsteel’s Commercial Division. Responsible for leadership of 10 direct and 200 indirect reports. The Starkville Division produces seating products for commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and senior living properties as well as vehicle seating for RV market. Value streams include Design Engineering, Wood Mill, Finish, Cut and Sew and upholstery operations.

Corporate level role reporting to Advanced Manufacturing Group Manager. Responsible for developing and leading projects to ensure best total cost for the HNI Network and supporting manufacturing campuses throughout the US. Since my return to HNI I have developed and led 5 projects resulting in $1.2 million in savings for the HNI network

Responsible for all aspects of production regarding safety, quality, cost and delivery of specialty laminated panels and plastic extrusions used in multiple applications. I am charged with driving operational improvement through lean processes and training as we journey towards a world class culture.

This is a corporate level role reporting directly to the VP of Manufacturing. I have responsibility for four manufacturing facilities in four states. Duties include leading projects to determine the best overall network model for The HON Company. Provide leadership for network capacity studies and best practices and lead the implementation to yield desired results. Recommend changes in manufacturing methods and locations to yield the best overall cost to The HON Company network.

Full P & L responsibility for this Focus Factory that supports a plant of $140 Million in sales. Responsible for all aspects of production, safety, quality, delivery and cost associated with the Oak Laminate Post Form Factory. With a staff of 6 salaried direct and 225 indirect reports, this factory produces laminate case good units for the office furniture industry. I am responsible for three assembly cells and a fabrication department that supplies parts for fifteen assembly lines and three plants. Processes include saws, point to point boring, feed through boring, edge banding, and final assembly.

Responsible for all aspects of production, safety, quality, delivery, and cost associated with the 4P Factory. Located in the Seating and Storage plant in Muscatine, IA, this position reports to the plant General Manager. With a staff of four direct and 40 indirect reports, this factory of four departments produces storage units for the office furniture industry. This position coordinates, through shop floor level supervisors, the manufacturing activities of the departments. Overall responsibility, through direct reports, of scheduling production, manpower needs, equipment needs, and budget. Responsible for setting productivity, quality, and safety goals, and providing the resources and support for meeting those goals. Processes include steel pressing, punching, painting, and final assembly of product

Distribution Manager with three (3) direct reports and 45 members covering three shifts. Responsible for all aspects of distribution of on-site manufactured product to nation-wide customer base. This is a senior management position reporting directly to the Vice President of Southern Operations. Overall responsibilities include, but not limited to, the shipping / receiving of product, facility upkeep, budget, RCI (rapid continuous improvement), quality, production, and safety.
