Senior Leader for the 3rd Battalion, 485th Infantry Regiment which recruits, trains, and provides Army Reserve Infantry Drill Sergeants in order to support the U.S. Army's 22-Week Infantry One-Station Unit Training (Basic Training) at Fort Benning, Georgia. Commands eight Drill Sergeant companies, geographically dispersed in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The 3-485th Battalion is organized under 1st Brigade, 98th Training Division (Initial Entry Training), 108th Training Command of the U.S. Army Reserve.

U.S. Manufacturing Workforce Solutions leader and Program Manager for the Academy of Advanced Manufacturing (AAM). AAM is a joint venture between Rockwell Automation and ManpowerGroup, designed to bridge the growing U.S. gap in skilled technicians and leaders for advanced, digital manufacturing roles in the U.S. The program will annually upskill 1,000 U.S. veterans entering the civilian workforce, and upon completion of the intensive 12-week certification course, will facilitate an employment opportunity for the veteran with a U.S.-based manufacturer. The coursework includes both classroom and hands-on laboratory segments, as well as resume writing and interview preparation sessions. The course is hosted at Rockwell Automation's Global Headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

U.S. Chamber of Commerce Hiring Our Heroes program alumnus and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Led, organized, and facilitated improvement within business functions that will have the greatest impact on process improvement and cost control. Drove greater than $1.2 million improvements in business performance using SAP expertise and Lean Enterprise Six Sigma tools & methods by reducing inventory material costs and improving processes across multiple Rockwell Automation business units. Responsible for project management of these opportunities through implementation and savings realization, ensuring each project delivered the forecasted savings, maintained or increased quality, customer satisfaction, ease of manufacturing, and timeliness of delivery.

Deputy Chief of Operations for the Forward Command Post of the XVIII Airborne Corps / Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR), the U.S.-led international Coalition to defeat ISIS in designated areas of Iraq and Syria. Delivered daily operations briefings to the U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, and operations updates to the CJTF Commander and Deputies. Coordinated regularly with U.S. Interagency partners and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). During the XVIII Airborne Corps' tenure as the CJTF, the Coalition trained more than 120,000 partner forces in Iraq and Syria, building the capacities needed to defeat ISIS and hold territory. Those forces liberated more than 80,000 square kilometers of what was once ISIS-held terrain, and liberated more than 5.6 million people in Iraq and Syria from ISIS control.

Future Operations Planner (G35) and Command Liaison Officer for the XVIII Airborne Corps, America's Contingency Corps. Served as a member of the US Army / US Army Reserve pilot program to augment Active Duty corps headquarters staffs with dedicated Army Reserve personnel. Contributions include planning support for Dragon Spear - a Joint Forcible Entry exercise at Fort Irwin, CA - directed by the Chief of Staff of the Army; and Division and Corps warfighter exercises at Fort Campbell and Fort Bragg. Served as corps Command Liaison to Headquarters, 19th Special Forces Group during the first-ever integration of a Special Forces Group headquarters into a conventional forces warfighter exercise. Mobilized to deploy with the XVIII Airborne Corps to Kuwait and Iraq in 2016-2017 in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

Operations Officer for the 1st Battalion, 182nd Infantry; a 900-Soldier infantry battalion which serves as the Massachusetts Army National Guard's primary response force for the city of Boston and the greater Boston area. Responsible for leading, mentoring, and training a staff of 20 senior personnel. Served in State Active Duty status for the Boston Marathon Bombing Response, Hurricane Sandy, and several major winter storms. Worked closely with the State Director of Military Support, the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, local law enforcement, fire department, and Emergency Medical Support officials. Supervisory experience in various operations to include domestic security operations, heavy snow and tree debris removal, mass power outages, sheltering operations, civilian evacuation transportation, and widespread flood management to include river flooding and coastal storm surge. Additional supervisory experience in multi-agency communication. Directed the battalion intelligence section on priority intelligence collection requirements to support current and future operations in combat, counter-terrorism, and domestic security missions.

Chief Human Resources Officer for the 51st Troop Command; a brigade-level headquarters comprised of 2,000 Soldiers in two Infantry Battalions, one Field Artillery Battalion and a Special Forces Company in the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Responsible for leading, mentoring, and training a staff of seven senior personnel. Provided guidance to all levels of leadership regarding department regulatory and personnel policies. Principal staff officer in establishing personnel plans, policies, and procedures for all aspects of personnel readiness, unit strength management, personnel service support, and correspondence. Conducted continuous analysis of current and projected personnel strength, identified critical shortfalls, and made recommendations to the commander and recruiting/retention teams. Made recommendations on personnel evaluations, awards, professional education, promotions, and demotions. Assisted the commander in conceptualizing, drafting, and publishing the brigade's personnel assignments and career progression strategy. Developed personnel and human resources policies and bulletins specific to the brigade.

Deputy Base Commander and Base Operations Officer for the 1st Battalion, 181st Infantry deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Responsible for base security and all operations in a high-threat location for a 4,000+ person base within Kabul, Afghanistan. Responsible for managing 24 hour gate and tower security operations, a mounted Quick Reaction Force, plus tenant unit conflict resolution, strategic improvement construction planning, and capital contract management. Coordinated between U.S. service members, Inter-Agency partners, multi-national (NATO) service members, and both U.S. and Afghan contractors. Facilitated medical evacuation, public health services, and morale and welfare resources for all tenants and visitors to the base. Prior to deployment, responsible for planning and resourcing individual, collective, and counter-insurgency operations training for a unit of 500+ U.S. Soldiers.

Commander of an 89-Soldier Heavy Weapons Infantry Company. Financially and legally responsible for the security, maintenance, and accountability of approximately $5 million in tactical vehicles, weapons, radios, night vision equipment, and optics. Transformed the company after its return from a one-year deployment to Iraq, by training and growing new leaders and teams, resetting equipment, and certifying new teams to conduct both combat operations or domestic emergency response operations.

Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Assistant Professor of Military Science at MIT. Annually taught and mentored a specially selected cohort of approximately 70 graduate and undergraduate students in an adaptable 4-year curriculum on ethical leadership theory, leadership practica, tactics, and operational planning. Developed curriculum and lesson plans for fall and spring semester courses; and developed and lead a rigorous physical fitness, nutrition, and wellness program. Additionally, developed curriculum and taught the accredited ”Seminar in Practical Leadership” for MIT's Sloan School of Management. Prepared students to become commissioned officers in the U.S. Army and ethical, life-long leaders.

Clinical Representative for Guidant's Cardiac Rhythm Management division. Primary responsibilities included conducting periodic and emergency diagnostic patient exams on implanted cardiac pacemaker and defibrillator devices, assisting with device implant surgical procedures in an Operating Room environment, conducting technical education and training for physicians and nursing staff, and positively influencing business sales.

Sales Territory Manager for capital medical equipment and single-use medical devices in a hospital-dense area covering eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine.
