Delivered daily operations briefings to the U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, and operations updates to the CJTF Commander and Deputies. Coordinated regularly with U.S. Interagency partners and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). During the XVIII Airborne Corps' tenure as the CJTF, the Coalition trained more than 120,000 partner forces in Iraq and Syria, building the capacities needed to defeat ISIS and hold territory. Those forces liberated more than 80,000 square kilometers of what was once ISIS-held terrain, and liberated more than 5.6 million people in Iraq and Syria from ISIS control.
