My clinical experience comes from 9 years serving as an Emergency Medical Technician on frontline ambulances with the Ambulance Service. In addition, I was deemed an 'Highly Competent'​ instructor by the British Army, with over 20 years service, training soldiers in various military skills, including Battlefield Casualty Drills. Along with a First Aid Trainers qualification gained through an Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved trainers course, I also have the relevant Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. Whilst instructing in similar courses run by The Red Cross and St. John's Ambulance, my strengths lie in having practical experience of treating casualties in all sorts of emergency situations including major road traffic collisions, household fires, cardiac arrests, fractures, amputations and child births, to name but a few.
