This covers all aspects of the business from finance, purchasing and marketing to the individual technical departments needs. Key Projects: TWI Welding Software Suite: Project leader for the four integrated products that compromise the suite of software. My responsibilities included managing the development team, developing the products and more recently promoting the software to external clients and visiting dignitaries, both nationally and internationally. I also managed the redevelopment of the flagship product from the ground up in C# utilising a Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle database rather than Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Access 97 in order to make the product scalable to national corporations. Lesstricity: A technology strategy board project that aims to develop a centralised wireless management system capable of eliminating the wasteful use of electrical power from appliances left switched on or in standby mode. My responsibilities for the project are to manage and develop the software for this project to communicate with wireless devices, store and present information from the system.

Project leader and software engineer developing and maintaining applications with C#, Visual Basic 6.0, SQL and MS Access.Key Projects:TWI Welding Software suite: Industry standard fabrication management software with welding code intelligence to record and track documentation. I developed and managed various feature enhancements for all four applications that comprise the TWI Welding Software suite. I was the project leader to design and implement migration of the system from Microsoft Access 97 to Oracle. I have designed and managed the development of customisations to meet individual client requirements from small to large. I updated the software on a yearly basis to meet international welding standards to continue support to software users.Welding Estimator: Welding procedure and welding project cost estimation tool. The software was developed from basic welding knowledge into a software tool for the mass market. The product was designed with technical experts to produce a tool to meet real world requirements and enable small concerns effectively estimate welding costs and timescales.Crackwise 4: Automation of fracture and fatigue assessment procedures from international standard BS 7910 for engineering critical assessment. I was the software developer for the user interface working closely with fracture and fatigue experts.

University Year in Industry Scheme. Completed a six week graduate training induction programme including ADA 83, ADA 95, UML, software design and programming principles. Once training was completed worked as part of the software maintenance and support team on a defence project.
