I'm a full-stack developer who uses Phoenix and Flutter to build systems. Since graduation I've worked with startups and on personal projects building servers that run on Phoenix with Elixir, Postgres, and LiveView to provide a RESTful API for iOS and Android apps, both built with Flutter, to communicate with.As a computer science student I studied data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis by demonstrating competency in pseudo code and UML diagrams to design programs in C++, Java, SQL, and Verilog. The university provides us a CentOS server that we could remote log into for testing our projects. I studied Classical Physics and Astronomy for Science classes. My elective computer science classes are Artificial Intelligence, Computer Security, Database Theory, Object Oriented Software Development, and Parallel Computing.I served in the United States Marine Corps as an Intelligence Analyst. I researched, analyzed, and developed information into actionable intelligence as well as additional duties. Often, my leadership relied on me to be the first step in troubleshooting our equipment because of my IT and Networking experience in high school. During my enlistment, I served as a Non-Commissioned Officer, exercising small unit leadership seeking to optimize performance. While I was deployed to Afghanistan, I expanded the responsibilities of my position from maintaining the journal for the team to real time analysis and product development. My position's title was changed from Scribe to Targeting NCO because of the changes in responsibility during my time in the team.Projects, such as game designs, functional calculators, and helper codes, often fill my time while I seek ways to continue learning. For languages unrelated to class, I have learned C# (for the Unity game engine) and Python (for standalone applications). To continue using a laptop with a corrupted hard drive, I installed Ubuntu over the corrupted data and used that version of Linux for a couple of years. Most recently, I have been developing a testing environment to run programs I work on. Currently, the testing environment features a global variables management system which uses a text document to manage the values of the variables to reduce the number of times the program must be compiled.
