I Use SQL & Advanced Excel VBA skills to automate Excel and other Microsoft products, and also design and create software applications to solve a multitude of problems. I add functionality and enhanced performance to the business which is positively reflected in our resultsRecent projects include;Automatic production of NHS monthly reporting packs to collate stand-alone reports into a more user friendly reporting pack, ensuring compliance of Standard Acute Contracts, for NHS Comissioners and our hospital use. The reporting pack allows for metrics such as performance against plan, linking to report details, providing a detailed overview of each report, and 'branding' the reports and reporting pack in the company style. The reporting pack is built 'on the fly' according to customer / user specified criteria, easily amended by non-programmers by changing data in spreadsheet cellsA pre-validation tool for automating the formatting and validation of data supplied by our hospitals using a variety of pre-programmed rules prior to submitting the data to The Department of Health. Data for a three month rolling period is supplied by our hospitals, and then the validation tool uses this data to query an SQL server (using ADO) to add data to the spreadsheet prior to the rules being appliedAutomatic production of ledgers for Credit Controller use, including automatic insertion of contact details, links to invoices and backup, automatic subtotalling of consolidated invoices. Also a Credit Control call diary applicationDatabase style application for our hospitals to use in order to retrieve Referring GP / GP Practice and CCG information from Department of Health downloaded data prior to input into our systemsDebt profiling application which takes weekly produced figures for accounts, allows the user to specify a range of two dates, and then graphically plots the debt profile between these dates
