Managing Director of Amwins Global Risks, effective 1st January 2023.I lead Amwins Global Risks’ sales support activity, focusing on strategic recruitment, enhancing our client and carrier relationships, and supporting the company in identifying and capitalising on product capability gaps and geographic expansion opportunities.I have worked for AGR for 25 years, guiding the growth of its largest division to be market-leading, and building strong relationships with our key trading partners. Mark CodyI joined THB in 1996 and have some 30 years’ insurance experience, having spent a great deal of time producing and placing businesses throughout the United States to provide solutions for high exposures or specialty risks. I became a Director in 2002, was appointed Managing Director of THB North America in 2008 and I was also invited to join the THB Group Board. In 2015, I was appointed to the THB Executive Committee and named MD of the newly-created THB Worldwide Property Division, merging the existing North America and Global Risks teams together to create a “powerhouse division”, emphasising the company’s expertise in global property insurance broking. In 2017, I was made CEO of Worldwide Specialty, incorporating Worldwide Property, North American Special Risks, Treaty & Construction & Engineering. I am responsible for 124 employees.
