As a dedicated primary school teacher and educational leader, I am committed to creating safe and nurturing environments where children can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. I believe in the power of inquiry-based learning, student agency, and the importance of fostering self-regulation, wellbeing, and strong relationships among students. These values not only enhance student engagement but also contribute to improved mental health and academic success.I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Management, during which I performed research into the effect of, and strategies to mitigate, learning loss during school holidays. My experience includes nine years of classroom teaching in three countries, leading subject departments and school sections, organising multi-day excursions, accompanying students on four international trips, and developing school policies, curricula, and assessments. I have also gained insight into the highest levels of safeguarding and pastoral care in educating students who require constant personal protection. I am passionate about continuing to explore and contribute to educational reform, with the goal of fostering a system that nurtures creative, healthy, and empathetic citizens.
