Responsible for ensuring the Kingspan Environmental family of solar thermal products maintain all the relevant solar certifications across local and international markets. Ensuring new product introductions and/or modifications are integrated within the rules of the certification bodies.My solar thermal product expertise is utilised through my close relationship with our Product Development team and as a trained ‘8D Problem Solving’ practitioner, this expertise is relied upon across our local solar thermal manufacturing operation (in Northern Ireland) in resolving issues in problem areas and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.Additionally I am the ‘Net Zero Energy’ coordinator across the Kingspan Environmental division. The Kingspan group employs in excess of 6,600 employees across multiple locations and has a target of becoming carbon neutral in its manufacturing operations by 2020. This role involves working with a number of external audit bodies and spans a number of disciplines within the business from procurement, to engineering and is primarily a project management role. Furthermore, this role enables me to share experience across the division and also at a Kingspan Group level.

Responsible for integrating a global Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform across the Kingspan Environmental division. This division of Kingspan Group comprises 12 registered offices, spanning North America, Europe and Australasia. These businesses manufacture a suite of Environmental and Renewable products and will mature in line with Kingspans growth expectations utilising this CRM system (Sage SalesLogix).The CRM system will enable Kingspan Environmental businesses to build upon a strong technical expertise and offer a complete commercial design solution to the market, while maximising sales and market growth.

Responsible for delivering renewable energy training and providing technical and system design support to customers.In this position I was the Kingspan technical training representative in new markets across North America and Europe as well as Ireland and UK through relationships with trusted Kingspan distributors and OEM customers. Responsible for the implementation of the SalesLogix CRM system within the renewables business. Involved co-ordinating the IT infrastucture and gathering data from Regional Sales Managers within the solar business to inform management reports.

Responsible for recruiting and managing a team to provide a telephone Advisory Service and deliver a government grant programme. This involved delivering quality advice to a range of energy users and administering a £10 million fund.Ensured that the company’s contractual obligations to the Department of Entreprise Trade and Investment (DETI) were satisfied, while preserving the commercial interests of Action Renewables.Responsible for specifying, implementing and maintaining a client database to manage a £10 million grant programme and associated management reporting to meet strict government deadlines.A key point of contact when negotiating with DETI on Service Level issues and effective grant programme delivery.Management reporting was a key part of the role within Action Renewables with strong analytical skills required - reporting to CEO of as well as senior officials within DETI.
