I am currently a BA student in Business Management at Edinburgh Napier University, and have worked my way up from level 6 in West Lothian College after deciding to pursue higher education and have found that I have a genuine passion for economics. I currently have a portfolio of my own that I am investing in and hope to work my way up towards a role in investment banking. I would like to achieve connecting with people in this industry to learn from those who are more experienced, trade ideas and potentially even find a mentor. I enjoy analysing potential investments from making a judgement on the present and potential future performance of a business and attempting to find a fair valuation of an asset to buy with a margin of safety to maximise gains.Next year I intend to move onto either Herriot Watt University or to Edinburgh Napier University to study either Business and Economics or Economics and Finance, whilst beginning my journey to achieve a CFA, however I would also like to pursue potential international opportunities such as any that present themselves in Europe or America so I may understand their financial systems.
