Market data manager of team of 8 members for JPMorgan Tokyo. This team was responsible for the delivery of all exchange connectivity, real time data feeds etc including Wombat feed handlers, BPOD and BPIPE and Metafluent services.The team was responsible for the delivery for all Exchange,Broker, Market Data realtime feeds inc Wombat, BPIPE, TREP, Metafluent and client connectivity across all business including support for High Frequency trading in JPX Colo for Equities and Equinix for FX. As a manager I was very hands on technically-Set up the Corvil latency monitoring to measure our Feed handlers' latency performance. - Handled the EBS Colo setup for FX in Equinix TY3 including help with the design, EBS and Client connectivity. I managed the end to end set up for the Mellanox Infiniband switches from ordering, to cabling us the server to IP/IB setup and cluster setup.-Supported Australia inc app packaging for Iress and support of ASX services.Oversee all L2/L3 support and demand management. Deliver mandatory and investment products for Japan location, which is one of the most complex, dynamic, and regulated markets in Asia. Oversee Production & Infrastructure Management Teams. Liaise with auditors and managed audit-related activities, including SESC and FSA. Act as chief contact for senior management regarding status reports and guidance on build-out of Japan businesses

Started off doing desktop and worked up to managing NT servers, some Netware servers and building and managing the MS Terminal servers. As was a small team duties included everything from supporting users, packaging s/w, managing s/w distibutions via NAL and using perl scripts to building servers, creating a web server with SQL server for storing helpdesk procedures to change management and pretty much anything else.
