Maximo Technical Lead
Providing ongoing technical support for asset system enquiries and developing the next generation of asset management system for the electrical distribution and transmission network.· Developing the Business Case for the Asset System upgrade requiring close liaison with multiple facets of the business include; legal, finance, project management, engineering, assets, and HR. · Delivering the asset system upgrade project to the company by acting as the point of contact between the company and the contractors providing the upgrade. As part of this role I am consulted at every level of development from asset hierarchy to user training. It also includes the defining of system requirements derived from the needs of the business and the companies data strategy.· Responsible for the development and reporting of a Graduate Engineer. This includes weekly coaching and mentoring and monthly performance appraisals. I also report on their performance directly to the executive.· Leading a project to replace paper asset record forms with new electronic ones that will be available across remote and office based IT equipment. As part of this project I headed user feedback forums to establish the user requirements. I have worked closely with development of the forms themselves and am responsible for delivering the training to the company which includes a training video and help document.· System administrator responsible for responding to all system enquiries. I am in regular contact with the companies IT consultancy, providing fixes and solutions to bugs within the system.· I act as deputy to the System Owner in they're absent, taking on all their responsibilities. This function enabled me to be a direct link between my colleagues and the executive, providing early feedback to the executive on intended policy changes that ranged from Pay increments to COVID protocols.
