I have worked in Poundland for over 20 years, My role in Poundland was as the European Product Analyst responsible for all types of products, where I liased with colleagues in the supply chain from the retail director, product controllers to buyers and also to the customer relations team and the Hong Kong QA team. My role was to ensure that the products complied with the relevent european legislation. My other duties included inspection of products to AQL level, investigating customer complaints, checking artwork to ensure the item had the correct warnings/ instructions. Also involved new product developement. I helped launch two complete celebrity ranges by providing information on the legislation for the products which was in over 400 stores at the time of release. I was also responsible for investigating any trading standards incidents that we had.
