The present state of social services in Canada and the U.S. remains perplexing to many like myself. Common sense would ask why the population of homeless families grow, and they look at vacant foreclosures. While researching DTES and the state of affairs with mental health, addictions, and long term unemployed it is safe to say, something new needs to be done. While it is grand to assist people with degrees, and basically build their confidence, assist with mock interviews, an outstanding cover letter, etc. The root of our collective social degression is capitalism is simply no longer working, and we bury our heads. There is a great deal of valid and comprehensive information on this via the internet. I say, ERC's are more concerned about their funding and jobs, and really are not as client centred as they proclaim. Few are, not many.Specialties: Public speaking, restoring confidence in anyone who's lost it only because I still remember what that feels like.
