As the sole on-site technician and IT manager, I design and manage all my company’s IT infrastructures. I designed the entire network architecture from the ground up, including servers, active directory, security policies, switches, PBX and cabling. I am also responsible for the administration and troubleshooting of over 12 servers and 100+ users across four locations including our off-site warehouse and our California and Washington, DC bookstores. I train and support end-users on all applications, administer company email systems, and maintain email and backup systems.

As a systems administrator, I was responsible for providing company-wide user hardware and software support in various locations, for both office and industrial equipment. I created and maintained document imaging databases; developed and managed test plans, test tools, and requisite client/server testing infrastructure for multiple applications. I designed and maintained the corporate website, managed high speed internet connectivity, established network security, and administered the email system. I installed and maintained the company inventory control system.
