Experience in normal business and marketing management activities including staffing, budget, P & L , long term visioning and brand management/promotion. Also currently responsible for the Vermeer/ Iowa State relationship including the building of our new facility at the Iowa State Research park Initiated and led the Vermeer team in the successful acquisition of two companies. One located in the domestic market and one in western Europe.From an Industry involvement perspective, I serve on the Association of Equipment Manufacturers Agriculture Sector Board, the Long Term Strategic Task Force and am the former chair of the ICUEE show.

Syntex was great place to develop my skillsets and work around dedicated and talented colleagues who were passionate about the affect the Syntex line of products had on the Beef Cattle Industry. I started as a sales representative calling on Veterinarians and feedlots then progressed to National Account Manager, Regional Manager then finally to Product Manager for the Synovex product line. The lessons I learned and the friendships created have been life long treasurers.

A phenomenal opportunity to work within the industry I was raised in - pork production. The opportunity to spend half the summer as a Legislative Intern for Senator Grassley focused on agricultural policy was simply priceless and rewarding. The second half of the internship was in the IPPA office supporting special projects.
