Recent experience includes an 80MW DC for Microsoft in Amsterdam and a 90MW site with its own energy centre in Dublin.I started my career 35 years ago as an electrician working within the construction industry. This experience gave me a very good understanding of the construction industry and on site practices. I continued with my studies and progressed from lecturer in electrical engineering, contractor designer/estimator, consulting engineer and I am now director of my own building services consulting practice. I spent time working in Baku, Azerbaijan for BP where as well as electrical design work I supervised foreign labour and managed projects. I have designed electrical services for large projects at Heathrow Airport. Through out my career I have covered the majority of sectors within the construction industry from hospitals, hotels, prisons, sports stadia, theatre, airport, oil and gas to schools, offices, warehousing and residential installations. I have become very experienced in building services both electrical and mechanical installations. I also worked for Hawker Siddeley Switchgear designing control circuits for HV/MV switchgear. I can completed electrical designs using Revit BIM including COBIE exchange. I also do all the SBEM calculations and EPC's.I am a CSCS Professional H&S card holder, CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant & CIBSE LCEA.
