Managing ARL’s Cl.378 TSA contract with Bombardier, representing ARL’s best interests.Managing a team of Shift Managers ensuring that they discharge their responsibilities professionally and diligently.Overseeing both the Production and Reliability meeting structure between ARL and Bombardier.ensuring that all fleet failures/faults have been addressed and service requirement is met. Working with Bombardier to put in place acceptable plans where appropriate.Working with the ARL Production team to ensure that they are discharging their duties effectively in management of Bombardier.Ensuring that any inherent safety issues with the fleet are identified and are being managed by Bombardier to ARL’s satisfaction, including issue and management of the NIR Process for the Cl.378 fleet.Taking a leading role in the Contract and Performance review meetings, both by way of provision of data and steering the required outputs to the best interests of LOROL.Deputising for the Head of Fleet.Managing the Engineering Change process for the Cl.378 fleet and concession approvals.Managing the 378 Purchaser Owned Spares material.

Responsible for the management of the Engineering production team and the depot.Duties include:• Carrying out safety briefs• Carrying out overhead line isolations• Working with local management and liaising with the customer to meet production targets• Coordinating all vehicle movements• Managing the team for lateness and attendance• Organising annual leave.

Responsible for ensuring Production targets, Reliability, Quality standards and Safety requirements are achieved through the monitoring/Managing of our contracted train maintainers.Duties include: Providing guidance, direction & producing rational, original remedies/mitigations to the LOROL production team to ensure production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are achieved through the robust monitoring of our contracted train maintainer (Bombardier). Collating & Analysing all performance data to identify failure trends & process/production issues, working closely with Bombardier, providing guidance, direction & rational, original remedies/mitigations, with a view of developing improvement plans yielding a sustainable reliability profile. Providing assurance that Bombardier comply to their contract requirements for the maintenance, overhaul, repair and cleaning, on behalf of Rfl via the concession, with high level of involvement in Fleet Performance & Rfl Contract meetings. Interrogating unit records and data to ensure that all failure issues have been addressed, and that safety status remains as low as reasonably practicable, to verify that all departures were prepared and offered for service in accordance with the set standards. Providing incident/ performance data & reports to the Fleet engineer & Asset Manager as required. The lead role for LOROL on Reliability/performance, Modification Approval Board meetings & other as directed by the Fleet Engineering & Asset Manager. The lead role for LOROL on authorising Engineering Concessions/Engineering change. The lead role for LOROL on monitoring & managing any applicable, NIR’s. Covering the ‘Fleet Planning & Performance Manager’ & the ‘Engineering & Assets Manager’ role when required.
