I have been a professional educator for the lastthirty-two years. My first seven years I taught grades 4, 5 and 6 at Meeker Elementary School in the Puyallup School District. The past twenty-five years I have been an administrator at Foothills Elementary in the White River School District. This year I am helping implement a new program focusing on student re-engagement. I will be working with students in grades 6-12 who are not currently participating in a successful manner at their home school. Our purpose is to build trusting relationships with kids that will increase their sense of belonging so they may return to their home school with the confidence needed for them to be successful.
