Actor
On Air Talent/Commercial Production/News
Worked in Radio at many stations from high school on - many formats (my favorites are oldies and new age/lite jazz) overnights, mid-days at KLRS, love song request shows -commercial production at all, including substitute news anchor at KSCO and KWAV. I eventually started a radio drama show on public radio KUSP in Santa Cruz called Storyline - ran for five years while I was also on KWAV. The radio drama allowed me a creative outlet that commercial radio didn't (unless you counted the commercials). I also loved subbing for the KUSP oldies show with my own 45s and lps - three hour shifts that breezed by in a happy blink. I still do the occasional voiceover and musical demo but I've not put myself into that market. Instead, I read for the blind via Learning Ally each week (just finished INFINITE JEST by David Foster Wallace; next is A Kepler's Dozen, short stories based on Kepler discoveries). I would love to return to voiceover someday.
