The role initially involved setting up the (ETE) service by networking with local trainers and employers, building up a caseload of clients and creating assessment / feedback paperwork. It also involves supporting clients with a previous drug/alcohol problem, possible mental health problems and those with a previous criminal record. Helping them achieve their potential through encouraging them to have career aspirations and helping them set realistic long and short term goals. Ongoing support through job applications, CV writing, interview skills, one to one teaching of Literacy, Numeracy and Construction Health+Safety.
