Developed control system for actuated artificial muscle technology used for prosthetics. Worked with the Arduino microcontroller to implement closed-loop control of the proprietary artificial muscles with force, temperature, and distance input from various sensors. Using the Unity Game Engine, developed an application to communicate with the Arduino Control system and run various tests with data-saving capabilities and an interactive GUI for managing a multi-muscle setup. Created a Serial communication protocol to transmit data between the two devices. Data communicated included sensor data, experiment parameters, and actuation timings.In addition to software work, assisted in the electrical scheme for the control system, worked with the Electrical team to design a PCB for the Test Rig system. Also aided the Mechanical team in the concepting of muscle connectors, the rail system of the Test Rig, and sensor mounting locations on the device.Worked on developing a market strategy for the muscles and the direction of Delta Robotics. Developed smart muscle controller, overseeing PCB design and embedded software architecture.
