About Mark Dare
Health Education Australia Limited (HEAL) - provides health education for International Medical Graduates (IMG) preparing to sit the Australian Medical Council (AMC) exams. We also have a Simulated Patients program, offering simulated patients to clients who are training medical staff or running medical exams. My role with HEAL is to manage these programs. After almost 12 years managing doctors in the public hospital system in Melbourne, the move to HEAL in 2012 offered the opportunity to continue working with doctors, the majority who have trained overseas, in an educational environment. Over the last 2 and a half years, the IMG program, under my management, has seen some major changes and remains popular amongst the IMG population. Recently I was offered the opportunity to also manage the Simulated Patients program. This is a new area for me and I am ready to get my hands dirty.
