-Implement new online testing program to standardize apprentices' progression through training.-Coach, mentor, and develop field employees by providing support and feedback to both employees and leadership. Build partnerships with leadership teams to increase consistency across the department. -Develop employees through hands-on training and knowledge transfer to ensure they are properly trained and are able to execute work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.-Integrate classroom and hands on training to drive learning. -Complete step-progression knowledge checks and field assessments with apprentices as they progress through the apprenticeship.-Promote a safe work environment by actively participating in all aspects of employee safety program and modeling the safety culture.

-Supervise crew of 6-10 union employees for maintenance of substation transmission and distribution transformers, circuit breakers, circuit switchers, lightning arrestors, capacitor banks and switchgears. Work with project managers to plan and implement infrastructure upgrade projects such as complete substation rebuilds and replacement of transformers, circuit breakers, and motor operated switches.-Promote and maintain the highest possible safety culture-Oversee department budget

-Coordinate and supervise maintenance crews work on 500 Mega Watt Electrical Generating system.-Coordinate and supervise contractors’ work.-Ensure completion of all maintenance paperwork and permits.-Partner with Operations during emergencies to get equipment isolated and repairs made so units can be returned to service safely.-Perform staffing callouts for overtime and emergency as needed.

Rotating Turns Crew, Line Crew, Tech Crew- Develop switching orders and perform switching for maintenance outages.- Switch around fault conditions to restore power.- Troubleshoot medium voltage and high voltage breakers and low and mediumvoltage starters.- Install, splice and terminate underground high voltage cables.- Install and replace substation equipment including transformers, breakers, andGOAB switches.- Manage and conduct Doble Testing program for all transformers, oil circuitbreakers, and lighting arrestors throughout the plant.- Calibrate and maintain protective relays for substations.

-Schedule appointments and meet with homeowners to inspect and assess new home warranty issues for the largest home builder in Indiana. -Schedule technicians to complete repairs as needed.-Follow up on quality and customer satisfaction. -Responsible for all warranty issues for several large communities.

-Member of a large research and development group for lithium polymer battery project for the automotive industry. Work closely with engineers to develop test parameters and provide all data in a timely manner.-Operate Bitrode test equipment to test experimental battery cells-C, C/2, and C/4 cycling tests.-Destructive testing per requirements to be met for the automotive industry. Write programs and macros for testing and logging test data.
