• Modeling, analyzing, and finalizing structural design using structure analysis software.• Review and approval of drawings, specifications, work method statements, risk assessment, and others related to civil and structural (C&S) work.• Ensure all civil and structural C&S works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations, and codes of practice.• Coordination with the clients, architects, construction team, and mechanical and electrical (M&E) design team to resolve discrepancy issues and technical issues.• Prepare and check all calculation reports for submission.• Responsible for daily tasks involved in the design and detail of concrete and steel structures.

• Structural design and detailing of different structural members of a building based on typical reinforced concrete details and construction notes, miscellaneous details, masonry details and typical steel details.• Review and approval of shop drawings and cutting list of related structural members of a building such as footings, columns, beams, girders, shear walls, and slabs based on updated structural design codes and requirements.• Conduct structural estimates of design projects upon approval of head of inspection, and/or department team managers.• Assist other structural design engineers in the resolution of structural works, site issues and respond to site regarding structural design clarifications based on client requirements.• Perform seismic evaluation of existing structures through Data Gathering Phase such as rebar scanning, rebound hammer testing, concrete coring, and rebar extraction to provide as-built plans.• Attend Non-Destructive Testing such as Ultrasonic Testing and visual inspection of steel plate materials and rolled connections located at welded connections in accordance with ASTM and other structural specifications.• Conduct site inspection to assess actual condition in the building like vertical cracks on shear walls, honeycombs on RC walls or beams, and girders with terminated rebars needed for retrofitting.• Provide recommendations or remedial measures of appropriate response for different structural defects based on the performed site inspection.• Create weekly progress report entailing design or inspection concerns and status of Request for Approval (RFA) checking regarding the projects.
