A transformative banking and finance executive with a strong track record of achieving results, leading across diverse and dynamic environments, with a passion for cultivating teams with exceptional people, purpose, culture and performance.With extensive domestic and international experience in Banking and Financial Services, I've led businesses across Global Markets, Institutional, Corporate and Business Banking, FinTech and Payments, and Transaction Banking.My present role is Managing Director, Head of Global Markets/Equities Australia, Credit Suisse, and a member of the Australian and Asia Pacific Management teams, based in Sydney.Prior to Credit Suisse, I was a Senior Executive with Western Union Australasia, and before this, Asia Pacific Regional Business Head with Deutsche Bank based in both Hong Kong and Japan. I previously worked with JP Morgan and Citibank in Tokyo, London, and Sydney, and commenced my career with Bankers Trust in Australia. Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to manage and operate in diverse, dynamic and transformative environments with responsibility across Asia Pacific, giving me a great respect, knowledge and appreciation of the region. I maintain a passion and firm belief in the importance of leadership, purpose, people, and culture in creating outstanding teams that achieve excellent performance and results. Separately, sport has played a significant and consistent role in my life, having been actively engaged with many sports as player, coach, competitor, and board member. This has included having the honour of representing Australia in Rugby Union Sevens in the mid 1990’s, before a sudden neck injury saw early retirement. I've competed in ultra-endurance events across the globe, and recently involved in a number of sporting foundations and fundraising committees, as well as leading health, well-being and research foundations. I have an Executive Masters in Organisational Psychology and Change Management from INSEAD, and a B.A. Mathematics and Economics from Sydney University.
