Experience:Mark L. Deckman deals with complex insurance coverage issues, including coverage strategies, settlements, reinsurance, directors and officer, environmental liability, product liability, professional liability, and general liability matters. His practice centers on the representation of large insurance companies both at the national and international level in complex advertising, environmental, and commercial matters. Mr. Deckman has extensive experience in matters involving environmental, products liability, director and officer liability, construction, professional liability, and advertising liability.London Market Experience:Mark Deckman has extensive experience in a wide range of London insurance market issues, including reinsurance disputes, placement issues, first-property insurance coverage issues, and liability/casualty insurance coverage issues. He has represented the London market in many insurance disputes including both high-exposure international arbitrations and litigations.Prior to joining DLA Piper, Mr. Deckman was an associate with the New York City firm of Nixon Peabody LLP. There he handled all aspects of insurance litigation.
