My primary areas of responsibility will be investigations of water loss and water contamination complaints associated with coal mining in the commonwealth. I will be investigating stream recovery and stream loss concerns of streams that primarily overlie underground mining operations. I will also be involved in investigation of methane complaints and gas mitigation measures.

I have over 25 years of progressive experience with environmental projects with a focus on site characterization and remediation. I have served a variety of clients, including the National Park Service, US Navy, Defense Logistics Agency, PADEP, and private sector clients including steel, glass, and chemical manufacturers, and public utilities. I have worked at sites exhibiting a wide range of contaminants such as chlorinated solvents, fuels, pesticides, metals, and PCBs, and in 19 states and Puerto Rico. I have leveraged technology to better interpret data, make decisions, and streamline project costs. Such technology includes field data collection systems, statistical-based sampling design, GIS mapping, aquifer characterization, groundwater flow and transport modeling, and geostatistical modeling.
