About Mark Devens

After owning, managing, and practicing at MD ORTHOTIC & PROSTHETIC LABORATORY, PC for 28 years, I teamed up with COMPREHENSIVE PROSTHETICS AND ORTHOTICS of Peoria Illinois. This allows me to expand my resources; coverage, care and capabilities. We still maintain a complete central CAD CAM fabrication facility and now cover patients throughout Chicago, NW Indiana, central and southern Illinois.I am able to concentrate more on my pediatric and scoliosis patient population.As of 2018 I retired and became an ABC Emeritus CPO.

    Though I am experienced and proficient in all aspects of orthotic care, my concentration is in PEDIATRIC and SCOLIOSIS care.I developed the DIGITAL WILMINGTON METHOD© for scoliosis care; where a CAD CAM rendering is made of the patient and the design and principals of the DuPont Institute TLSO is applied.I have over 30 years experience in treating pediatric diagnoses such as TEV (Clubfoot), Spina Bifida, Scoliosis, Legg-Perthes, hip dysplasia, and proximal femoral focal deficiency.I have held 3 US patents and recently developed coding software for the O&P industry which I hope to finalize and make commercially available.
