During my 33 years in Law Enforcement, I was a Sergeant for 19 years, a Field Training Officer, Peer Support Team Member, Critical Incident Stress Management Team Rapid Response Team, Traffic Unit Supervisor, Police Academy Instructor, Street Crimes Team Member, Drug Interdiction Unit, Public Information Officer Emergency Operations Vehicle Course Instructor and an In-service Training Instructor. During my career, I developed mental health issues and had a suicide attempt. I'm very open speaking about my mental health issues, suicide attempt and my road to wellness. Subject Matter Expert Recognized by the Florida Department Of Law Enforcement, in reference to Law Enforcement Officer mental health wellness and suicide prevention. When I speak, I speak from the heart with passion and honesty. I have received amazing evaluations from attendees of my presentations. I’m an advocate for First Responder suicide prevention, mental health education and wellness. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife Gailyn of over 33 years. Spending time with our dogs, Romeo and Bella. I’m a huge fan of Rock and Roll music and enjoy playing the guitar and keyboards.
