• Managed a 12-15 rig operation including deep water, shelf, and land operations
• Led 8 Project Engineers, Engineering Manager, 2 Liquid Mud Plants, and administrative staff

Anchorage, Alaska Area

• Relocated to Alaska as Project Engineer and subsequently advanced to Project Manager after 2 years
• Managed a team of four Project Engineers and two North Slope IFE Coordinators
• Assisted BP-Alaska to meet specific corporate goals including HSE, operational, and production benchmarks
• Operations include 5 rotary drilling rigs, 2 workover rigs and 2 coil tubing rigs
• Reviewed and revised Drilling & Completion Fluid Programs and recaps
• Provided technical support for M-I SWACO operations while promoting new technology initiatives

Houston, Texas Area

• Rolled out a complete line of Reservoir Drill-In Fluids including 3 water base and 4 oil/synthetic base fluids
• Provided technical support that included overseeing RDF projects, assembling commercialization packages, writing engineering guidelines, and providing training for IFE Certification, Mud Schools, and Clients

• Founded and ultimately sold mobile automotive repair startup
• Managed all facets of business: outside sales, parts acquisition, scheduling, hiring, payroll and accounting

Houston, Texas Area

• Promoted through various positions including Sales Representative, Engineering Specialist, Manager of Engineering Services, and Business Director for North America
• Responsibilities included writing proposals for RDF and workover/completions projects, providing well-site training, and teaching RDF schools at two major fluid suppliers
• Managed day-to-day operations in South Texas, Louisiana, and the Gulf of Mexico
• Provided office and on-site fluid engineering for the first horizontal well in West Africa with Shell

• Provided well-site engineering support for both water and oil base drilling fluids primarily for Texas land rigs
