I have been in the analytics domain for over twenty years, working in both the public and private sectors. My specialties as an analyst are time series analysis, geospatial analytics, and operationalizing data, both big and small. I enjoy translating the nerdy for executive types and proselytizing the gospel of empirical problem-solving. Although, I am a bottom-up thinker who tends to see the details and ask direct questions. This is handy when things need to get done, but not so much when the mission is unclear and creativity is stifled. One of the most rewarding aspects of my career has been facilitating the success of others. I am a firm believer in the power that organizations and leaders have in shaping the success of their employees. Neglected talent is rarely retained. People need a purpose and encouragement to exceed their expectations. Over the years, I have had the privilege to hire, manage, train, and develop scores of individuals. Seeing them triumph over their doubts brings me immense satisfaction. To that end, I am particularly interested in coaching neurodivergent individuals on their career paths and advocating for the ASD community. In my wilder years, I taught college biology and anthropology courses, worked as a forensic scientist and even found the time to dabble in writing fiction.
