In this role I worked across numerous initiatives aimed at increasing mental health and well being, and reducing suicide rates among Indigenous Australians through community outreach and providing policy advice to the Minister for Health, the Minister for Indigenous Australians. The role involves liaising with community members to keep abreast of community needs and pairing this with academic research to inform the Government of the mental health needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in a compelling and concise manner. I was the contract manager for peak Indigenous organisations providing social and emotional well-being services across Australia.

I worked across numerous initiatives aimed at increasing school attendance rates of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in remote communities within Australia. My contributions to the work program largely consist of briefing the Minister or executive team of emerging issues or project changes, providing technical support on analytical tasks, and progressing day-to-day project management tasks. A core part of my role is to liaise with communities to obtain, analyse and then translate attendance data into a report provided to the Minister on a monthly basis. Additionally, I am the contract manager for an education project that aims to deliver STEM resources to Indigenous students across a number of remote regions across Australia.

I interviewed, and assessed the leadership qualities of executive leaders to ensure beneficial outcomes for the client and a professional experience for candidates.
