I pushed a lawnmower out of the way, converted a garage into a shop, and built a creative agency (Fidelis) with my younger brother, Tim. We'd work long hours every day. I'd crack open a Miller High Life, and push the mower back inside the shop late at night. Five years later, we're still moving fast — building brands. We help clients look, sound, and perform better. I have Liberal Arts degrees (don't laugh), so I love generating/deconstructing ideas. Whiteboards are my favorite place to be. I began my career as a high school/college writing instructor - helping people articulate their ideas and analyze the structure of arguments. It was an easy hop from the classroom into brand development because I find I am doing the SAME thing. What are we saying? Why are we saying it? Can we say it better? Can we run about 8 oz of more fun through this?! I love seeing our work perform well out in the market. When our partnering brands thrive, we feel honored to have been part of their big success.I love working with my creative team of talented young pros as we crack open messaging for brands who need creative help. I am thrilled to go to work every day because no two days are alike. New problems are just fun puzzles we get to solve in a highly collaborative environment. Every day I shepherd projects and people mixed in among coffee grinds, great bands on the overhead speakers, and conference calls. I'm glad to be running Fidelis. I couldn't have written the script any better.
