Responsible for electrifying the largest vehicle fleet in the world as part of a larger Sustainability team focusing President Biden's mandate to decarbonize the Federal government's operations. The skills I bring to this job include creative problem solving, team building, driving a disparate group of organizations to a common goal, and tenacity. Prior to joining the Biden White House, I focused my efforts on working with cities, communities, and transit agencies to change how we move by using innovative approaches to solving core issues. These core issues -- equity, climate, and resiliency -- require tools such as technology, data, and policy development. During the second term of the Obama Administration, I was responsible for creating and executing the groundbreaking Smart City Challenge that changed the way cities use technology and innovation to drive change and solve problems related to mobility. I was able to demonstrate the power of public-private partnerships by helping cities raise close to $500 million in additional funding from the private sector. I excel at understanding cities', states', and transit agencies' core problems, and the way they view technology and data as a means to change outcomes. In the first term of the Obama Administration, I served as senior member of the team that reorganized General Motors and Chrysler.
