In this role I was required to make high volumes of outgoing calls on behalf of the client companies that we represented to achieve goals set out in the brief from those companies. Once calls were completed the relevant critical data was inputted accurately on one of the different computer systems utilized by the company in order for the client to be able to gather useful statistical data for their own purposes. This role was at times demanding as it was necessary to switch between the different clients at any time and to maintain the high standards expected from them.

In this role I was required to process the orders received from France and Germany so that they appear on company records correctly and to identify any issues that may appear. I also assisted in the maintenance of the company's website in keeping relevant information up to date and the creation of new products as and when they are released. Despite the company being based almost entirely online there was a significant number of phone based enquiries which I also assisted with or redirecting to a colleague better suited to address the issue at hand. On the warehouse side of things I helped in keeping an accurate record of stock levels, accepting deliveries, the picking and packing of orders and generally helping to ensure the warehouse stayed tidy and safe.

Meeting and greeting of customers and the serving of food and drinks. I was also required to ensure all areas of the restaurant were clean and tidy and to assist with any customer queries as quickly as possible. I also had some bar work duties and had to manage time suitably to ensure the bar stock was kept topped up even in busy periods. I was also given the responsibility of opening up the restaurant on a number of occasions to prepare the front of house area for the new day, take any deliveries and phone calls and to assist the kitchen staff where necessary.

Serving customers food and drinks whilst keeping all areas clean and tidy whilst also keeping all three bars stocked up as necessary. As the bar area was often the first port of call for many, it was common to be dealing with enquiries relating to all parts of the students union and the university as a whole. For the second year of this employment I was given the responsibility of running the weekly quiz night. This was one of the main events run by the union and so was no small undertaking. Not only was I the only person running the event on the night I had to prepare the room and the resources for the night prior to the start and also clear the room afterwards. I believe I was successful in this role as the attendance for the quiz never dropped below 100 people and was as high as 600 people.
