Director's responsibilities include policy setting, oversight, and funds appropriation. I was first elected in 1992, and re-elected in 1998, 2004, and 2010. During my tenure, the District completed a third water treatment plant, providing the metropolitan area with a "Triangle of Reliability". Safe, high-quality, and reliable water service is critical for the well-being and security of the Metropolitan area.

Responsible for all aspects of Information Technology management in support of strategic, enterprise-wide, mission critical initiatives:• Excel at fostering and maintaining business relationships, in support of strategic initiatives.• Have worked closely with the executive level, helping to define, communicate, and implement the vision and mission.• Have managed large IT departments and smaller IT specialty teams in support of many diverse business units.• Extensive experience with managing technical resources, working on multiple platforms and infrastructure components.- Managed the Technology and Operations groups that moved the organization to electronic check imaging and processing. We were early apopters of the X.9.37 check format and Image Cash Letters.- Successfully completed extensive technology, management, and leadership training while employed at FNBO.

Responsible for all aspects of analysis and computer programming, in support of various Douglas County, Nebraska computer systems. Specialized in in-house developed applications using IMS DB/DC as the primary development platform. Completed frequent and extensive technology training.
