Mark is interested in the link between Science and Architecture and is presently an Architect with ATA Architects in Oakville and Toronto. He believes that form should follow function in architecture, and his building design reflects that approach. He is involved with several architectural research projects with the National Research Council of Canada, Ryerson University in Toronto, Lawrence Tech University in Detroit and George Brown College in Toronto. After starting his career in construction, Mark moved back into architecture with a need to innovate within the field. Mark collaborates with Ryerson University's Fourth Year Building Science every spring semester on the student's final research projects. He teaches building simulation and building Science at Lawrence Tech University. He is in the process of developing several technologies which will save energy in cold climates. www.helioarch.com
