My media arts experience is in planning and executing media and arts projects that include national and international settings in collaboration with diverse cultures, individuals, and organizations throughout the U.S. and around the world. Settings have included the office of a college president in India, the front porch of a village headman in Malawi, downtown Detroit, and rural municipalities in Wyoming. Through these projects I have created informational and promotional messages that covered varied subjects such as the environment, HIV/AIDS, malaria prevention, nursing education, economic development opportunities, arts projects, and automotive information. My work experience includes convening public information events to foster interaction between community organizations and residents, assisted communities with grant applications and proposals, and I was the principal creator of the Wyoming Film Festival held in Saratoga, Wyoming. My goal is to use my creative abilities to collaborate with other creative individuals and organizations to create opportunities for community and economic development while creating events and stories that promote the good work that people do for other human beings.Specialties: Will do whatever is needed to achieve a client’s goal, whether it’s serving as producer/director, consultant, writer, researcher, location scout, driver, or getting lunch; Extensive experience working with nonprofit organizations with limited budgets; Appropriately respectful in sensitive situations; Ability to adapt in changing circumstances.
